PRO SIGNAL - Multimode OM5 50/125µm LC-LC Duplex Fibre Optic Patch Lead - 0.5m

The PRO SIGNAL Multimode OM5 Duplex Fibre Optic Patch Lead is a high-performance component designed for modern, high-bandwidth network infrastructure. Engineered with advanced OM5 50/125µm multimode fibre, this patch lead delivers superior bandwidth and transmission distance compared to older OM3 and OM4 standards. It is the ideal solution for future-proofing data centres, enterprise networks, and any environment requiring reliable, high-speed data transfer.

The lead features robust, high-quality UPC connectors with a guaranteed return loss greater than 40dB, ensuring a stable, low-reflection connection essential for signal integrity. The lime green LSOH (Low Smoke, Zero Halogen) cable jacket is a critical safety feature, designed to minimise toxic emissions and smoke in the event of a fire, making it suitable for use in public spaces, offices, and transport networks where safety regulations are stringent.

Optimised for high-speed applications, this duplex LC-LC patch lead supports wavelengths of 850nm and 1300nm, with an impressive bandwidth of 500/5000 MHz*km. This specification makes it perfectly suited for high-speed Ethernet, fibre channel, and other demanding protocols. The compact LC connector design allows for high-density installations in patch panels, switches, and media converters, saving valuable rack space.
