TOOLPAK Cobalt Ground Jobber Drill Bit - 7mm x 109mm

Engineered for professional metalworking applications, the TOOLPAK Cobalt Ground Jobber Drill Bits deliver exceptional performance on tough materials. These premium drill bits are manufactured from M35 high-speed steel alloyed with 5% cobalt, providing superior heat and wear resistance compared to standard HSS bits. The cobalt content is critical, as it significantly reduces heat build-up during the drilling process, allowing for a cooler cutting action and extending the tool's working life, even at higher speeds.

A defining feature is the precisely ground 135-degree split point tip. This advanced geometry ensures easy drill starting with minimal pressure, virtually eliminating the risk of skidding or 'walking' on curved or hard surfaces. This results in cleaner, more accurate holes from the moment the bit contacts the workpiece. The fully ground flute profile enhances chip evacuation, reducing friction and preventing bit binding for smoother, more controlled drilling.

These bits are specifically designed for drilling all metals, excelling on very hard, dense, and difficult-to-machine alloys. They are the ideal choice for stainless steels, high-tensile steels, cast iron, and other tough materials where standard drill bits would fail prematurely. Manufactured to the stringent DIN 338 standard, they guarantee consistent quality, dimensional accuracy, and reliable performance in demanding workshop and industrial environments. For any professional or serious DIY enthusiast tackling metal fabrication, repair, or engineering projects, these cobalt jobber drill bits are an essential, high-performance addition to the toolbox.
