TT Electronics Welwyn OAR Current Sense Resistor, 0R02, Metal Strip - 1

The TT Electronics Welwyn OAR Series Current Sense Resistor is a high-performance through-hole, metal element resistor designed for precise current sensing applications. Engineered as an Open Air Resistor (OAR), this series offers low resistance values ranging from 3mΩ to 100mΩ, accommodating various circuit requirements with exceptional accuracy.

One of the standout features of the OAR series is its superior surge performance, making it highly reliable in demanding electrical environments. The innovative design ensures that the hot spot is isolated from the PCB material, protecting the board from thermal damage and enhancing overall longevity. With a temperature coefficient of resistance (TCR) of ±20ppm/°C, these resistors maintain stable performance across varying temperatures.

Built to last, the OAR series boasts an endurance of 1000 hours at 25°C and operates effectively within a wide temperature range of -40°C to +125°C. Available in resistance tolerances of ±1%, ±2%, and ±5%, and featuring a robust metal strip construction with radial leads, this current sense resistor provides a versatile and dependable solution for power management and circuit protection in industrial and commercial electronics.
