Overview

The module delivers clear audio directly to hearing device wearers, helping visitors and staff with hearing aids receive crisp, intelligible sound with reduced background noise. It is designed for use with door entry systems and suits accessible buildings and facilities.

Input and Connectivity

The loop accepts input signals from pre-recorded sound sources (line out signals), low-voltage loudspeaker outputs, VoIP audio adapters, intercom systems, and PA systems. Inputs are available via a 3.5 mm TRS audio jack and screw terminals on a 2.54 mm euroblock, with output via screw terminals on a 5 mm 2-way euroblock.

Power and Dimensions

The loop draws 14V DC 2.14A via a 2.1 mm connector from a compatible CA-10-02 unit or host system, and includes a UK mains plug (Type G). The faceplate measures 140 x 140 x 3 mm, the recessed box measures 110 x 110 x 42 mm, and the total weight is 218 g.
