DFROBOT Gravity URM09 Ultrasonic Distance Sensor

The DFROBOT Gravity URM09 Ultrasonic Distance Sensor (SEN0304) is a high-speed, I2C-compatible sensor engineered for rapid ranging and reliable obstacle avoidance. Designed as part of the Gravity series, it integrates seamlessly with popular development platforms like Arduino and Raspberry Pi via its convenient PH2.0 connector, simplifying your electronics projects.

A standout feature is its impressive 50Hz measuring frequency, enabling near-instantaneous distance updates for dynamic applications. This is complemented by built-in temperature compensation, which ensures stable and accurate readings across varying environmental conditions, enhancing reliability. The sensor offers a flexible measurement range from 2cm to 500cm, which can be user-configured to suit specific project needs.

Housed in a compact and robust board, it operates on a low voltage supply of 3.3V to 5.5V DC with a modest 20mA operating current, making it suitable for battery-powered devices. Its operational resilience is proven by a wide temperature range of -10°C to 70°C. The included PH2.0-4P connector ensures a secure and plug-and-play connection, speeding up prototyping and integration.
