TEXAS INSTRUMENTS Differential Driver & Receiver SOIC 8-Pin

The TEXAS INSTRUMENTS Differential Driver and Receiver Pair is a high-performance component, specifically engineered for balanced transmission-line applications. Compliant with TIA/EIA-422-B, TIA/EIA-485-A, and ITU recommendation V.11 standards, this device significantly improves the reliability of full-duplex data communications over long bus lines.

The driver output features both positive and negative current limiting, alongside integrated thermal shutdown protection that activates at a junction temperature of approximately 150°C, safeguarding the device from line fault conditions. It is designed to drive current loads of up to a maximum of 60mA. On the receiver side, the component boasts high input impedance and input hysteresis for enhanced noise immunity, alongside an input sensitivity of ±200mV across the common-mode input voltage range.

Furthermore, this device has low power requirements and is classified as a green product, containing no antimony (Sb) or bromine (Br). Housed in an 8-pin SOIC package, it operates efficiently within a supply voltage range of 4.75V to 5.25V and functions reliably in temperatures from 0°C to 70°C. With compact dimensions of 43 mm x 33 mm x 15 mm and a lightweight design of just 0.181 grams, it is well-suited for space-constrained printed circuit board layouts.
