3M 50-Pin IDC D-Sub Socket, DD Size, Gold Plated
3M 50-pin IDC D-Sub socket with gold contacts for industrial use. Steel shell, PBT body, -55 to 105°C rating.
The 3M 50-Pin IDC D-Sub Socket (8350-6005) is a high-quality electrical connector designed for reliable performance in industrial applications. This D-Sub socket features a robust steel shell with a tin-plated finish for enhanced durability and corrosion resistance.
The socket utilises gold-plated copper alloy contacts for optimal conductivity and long-term reliability, with insulation resistance exceeding 1 × 10⁹Ω at 500VDC. The glass-filled polyester (PBT) construction offers excellent mechanical strength and thermal stability, with an operating temperature range of -55 to 105°C.
This version of the 8300 series features lower insertion/withdrawal force compared to other 50-position products, making it easier to use while maintaining a secure connection. The open cover design allows for straightforward installation and maintenance.
