The 3M™ PELTOR™ X1 Earmuffs provide high-performance hearing protection for environments with low to moderate noise levels. Featuring a twin headband design, these ear defenders are engineered for both strength and comfort. The internal stainless steel wire is coated in plastic, creating a robust yet lightweight structure, while the flat, wide headband is softly coated to distribute pressure evenly across the top of the head for stable, comfortable wear over extended periods.

A key safety feature is the electrically insulated headband, which contains no exposed metal, making the product 'dielectric.' This provides essential electrical resistance for tasks where there is a risk of spark or electrical charge, offering an additional layer of protection for the user. The carefully moulded sliders allow for easy and precise adjustment while the ear defenders are being worn.

Enhanced Comfort and Compatibility

Designed for all-day wear, the wide, soft foam ear cushions create an effective acoustic seal while maximising comfort. The slim-profile ear cups are specifically shaped to improve compatibility with other personal protective equipment (PPE), such as safety glasses, hard hats, and face shields. The twin headband design not only adds durability but also aids in heat dispersion, reducing warmth build-up on the head.

Built to last, the ear cups are manufactured from high-strength, impact-resistant ABS plastic. They are further protected by a thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) outer coating, which guards against abrasion and bumps in demanding work environments. Clear colour-coding allows for easy visual identification of the protection level being worn, supporting workplace safety compliance.
