ABS Handheld Enclosure, Black, IP54

This Miniature Handheld Enclosure is expertly manufactured from robust ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) plastic, featuring a smart satin texture finish. Designed with versatility in mind, it is ideally suited for mounting small printed circuit boards or for use as a potting box, making it an excellent choice for a variety of electronic projects.

The enclosure features a practical lap joint construction that provides reliable protection against the ingress of dust and splashing water, achieving an IP54 rating. For secure assembly, it is supplied complete with a lid and two self-tapping screws that are colour-matched to the black enclosure. Inside, two PC board standoffs are moulded directly into the interior, simplifying component installation. Certain models within this range are also predrilled on the narrow side for convenient attachment to a key ring kit.
