Power Integrations AC/DC Converter IC is a SOIC-8 surface mount converter with an integrated 700 V power MOSFET, designed for buck, buck-boost and flyback topologies in non-isolated power supply designs.

The LinkSwitch-TN series IC replaces linear and capacitor-fed non-isolated power supplies in applications with output currents up to 360 mA. It integrates a 700 V power MOSFET, an oscillator, a simple on/off control scheme, a high-voltage switched current source, frequency jittering, cycle-by-cycle current limit and thermal shutdown circuitry in a compact SOIC-8 package.
