Adastra 90W Slave Amplifier 100V/8 Ohm, 1U Rack

The Adastra 90W Slave Amplifier is a professional-grade, mono amplifier built into a compact and robust 1U rack-mountable housing. Designed as a versatile solution for small to medium public address (PA) installations, it allows for straightforward system expansion by bridging into existing 100V line setups.

This unit is engineered for flexibility and ease of installation. In addition to standard RCA line-level input and output connections, it features a 100V line input on removable screw terminals (Euroblock). This critical feature enables the amplifier to be connected in parallel with existing 100V speakers and lines, making it perfect for extending an audio system without complex re-wiring. The mono output can be configured for either a 100V line or an 8Ω speaker load via a separate removable screw terminal connector on the rear panel.

Supplied with comprehensive rack-mounting hardware, the unit can be installed in a standard 19-inch rack. Alternatively, the mounting kit can be configured to allow for a single unit to be mounted flush against a wall or discreetly under a worktop, offering great installation versatility for various environments.

The amplifier delivers a reliable 90W RMS output power, ensuring clear and consistent audio performance. It boasts a high signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of greater than 80dB and a frequency response of 100Hz to 18kHz, providing clean sound reproduction suitable for speech and music. Additional professional features include 24V alarm contacts for system integration and monitoring.

Housed in a durable chassis with dimensions of 44mm (H) x 300mm (W) x 210mm (D) and weighing 2.4kg, it is built for the rigours of installed audio. The unit comes complete with a UK mains plug (Type G) on an included IEC lead and accepts a wide power supply range of 170 to 264V AC at 50/60Hz, ensuring compatibility in the UK, Ireland, Cyprus, Saudi Arabia, Malta, and many other regions.
