It combines 8 KB of in-system programmable flash memory, 512 bytes of EEPROM, and 544 bytes of internal SRAM, with the capability to support up to 64 KB of external SRAM. By executing powerful instructions in a single clock cycle, it achieves a throughput of up to 16 MIPS at 16 MHz, providing an optimal balance between processing speed and energy efficiency.
The advanced RISC architecture features a 32-register general-purpose working file, all directly connected to the Arithmetic Logic Unit (ALU). This allows two independent registers to be accessed in a single instruction within one clock cycle, resulting in code efficiency and throughputs significantly faster than conventional CISC microcontrollers. The device operates from a supply voltage of 4.5V to 5.5V and includes an internal calibrated RC oscillator.
