This professional-grade base is designed for use with microphones placed on lecterns, pulpits, conference tables, and similar surfaces, ensuring crystal-clear audio capture in demanding environments.

Ideal for gooseneck microphones and other quick-mount type microphones with industry-standard XLRM 3-pin connectors, the AT8688S features an ON/OFF switch that mutes the microphone by 64dB. The circuitry also operates a light indicator within the switch, powered by a 24-52V phantom source, to visually confirm when the microphone is active.
