The BOURNS CRL Series is a low-resistance, standard-power thick film chip resistor, engineered for reliability in demanding electronic applications. It is constructed by printing a thick film resistive layer, composed of a precise mixture of metal oxides, onto a high-quality ceramic substrate. This design ensures stable electrical performance and excellent durability. For secure and reliable board mounting, the component features electroplated tin (Sn) outer terminations, while the sensitive resistive element is fully protected by a robust epoxy overcoat layer.

This resistor is specifically designed as a Current Sense component, making it ideal for applications where accurate measurement of electrical current is critical. Its low resistance value of 0.3 ohms and tight tolerance of ±1% provide the precision necessary for control and monitoring circuits.
