Broadcom HDSP-521G Green 7 Segment LED Display, 2 Digit, 14.2mm

The Broadcom HDSP-521G is a compact, two-digit, seven-segment LED display designed for general purpose applications. Featuring a clear 14.2mm character height, it delivers sharp, green numerical output ideal for a variety of indicator and readout uses.

This display utilises a common anode configuration and adheres to an industry-standard size and pin-out, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of existing circuits and prototyping boards. It is engineered for clarity, with a mitred font and mitred corners on each segment for a modern, well-defined appearance.

To maximise readability and contrast, the unit incorporates a grey face paint and a grey package. This combination provides an excellent background for the bright green LEDs, which have a typical luminous intensity of 3.5mcd. The display offers a wide ±50° viewing angle, making the output legible from various positions.

Rigorously tested for quality, each HDSP-521G display undergoes outgoing quality assurance (OQA) inspection. This process employs an Acceptable Quality Level (AQL) of just 0.065% for both functional and visual or cosmetic defects, providing confidence in its performance and finish.

With an operating forward current of 10mA and a forward voltage of 2V, it is efficient and straightforward to integrate into low-power digital designs.
