The Carlsbro Okto A is a powerful digital percussion machine featuring 8 high-response, hard-wearing, user-configurable rubber pads and 2 switch pedals for controlling bass drum and hi-hat sounds. This comprehensive unit is ideal for drummers of all levels, offering a vast array of sounds, effects, and learning tools.

With 408 drum voices, 30 preset drum kits, 20 user-defined drum kits, and 20 demo songs, you have an extensive palette for practice and performance. The Okto A also provides recording and playback facilities, a 2-band EQ, 6 reverb types, 64-note max polyphony, and 4 types of click track (30 to 250 bpm) with time signatures from 1/4 to 9/4. Teaching and coach modes, including powerful snare, rhythm, and complete drum set practice modes, help you build your skills.

Connectivity & Portability

The device features Bluetooth MIDI connectivity to link with your favourite drum tutor software, plus a USB connection for sending and receiving MIDI data. Expansion sockets allow you to connect external pads, cymbals, and pedals for greater flexibility. The 5V USB power input enables operation via a portable power bank, and a UK mains plug (Type G) is included for standard wall power. The 2.8-inch TFT LCD display (320x240) provides clear visual feedback.

Customisation & Design

The pad interface is easily reversible with one press of a button, making it perfect for both left- and right-handed drummers. Sensitivity and crosstalk are adjustable for a personalised playing experience.
