High-voltage DC/DC current-mode controller for Boost and SEPIC regulators. Operates from 6V to 60V in a VSSOP-10 package.
The Texas Instruments DC/DC Current Mode Controller is a high-voltage, low-side N-channel MOSFET controller that is ideally suited for use in boost and SEPIC regulators. It contains all of the essential features needed to implement single-ended primary topologies, providing a versatile solution for power management applications.
Output voltage regulation is based on current-mode control, which significantly eases the design of loop compensation whilst providing inherent input voltage feed-forward. The device includes a start-up regulator that operates over a wide input range of 6V to 60V, ensuring flexibility across various power supply designs. The PWM controller is engineered for high-speed capability, featuring an oscillator frequency range up to 2MHz and total propagation delays of less than 100ns.
