DFRduino UNO R3 compatible with Arduino UNO, ATmega328p, 5V, 16MHz. Colour-coded headers, ideal for education and development.
The DFRduino UNO R3 is a compact physical computing board based on the ATmega328p microcontroller, designed for education and development. Fully compatible with the Arduino UNO R3 and the open-source Arduino IDE, this board implements the Processing/Wiring language, allowing you to create stand-alone interactive objects or connect to software on your computer (e.g., Flash, Processing, MaxMSP).
This board features an ATmega16U2 programmed as a USB-to-serial converter, ensuring reliable communication with your PC. A key advantage is the use of a DIP package AVR chip, which you can remove to update or reprogram the firmware, or even reuse in compact, finished projects.
The headers are colour-coded for easy identification: red for power, blue for analogue I/O, and green for digital I/O. The board operates at 5V with a 16MHz CPU frequency and includes 14 digital I/O pins (6 PWM), 6 analogue inputs, 1 UART, 1 I2C, 1 SPI, 2 interrupt pins, 1KB EEPROM, 2KB SRAM, and 32KB flash memory. It accepts a 7-12V input voltage and comes with an A-B USB cable.
Note: The board dimensions are 75 x 55 x 15mm, and the product weight is 37 grams. The kit includes the DFRduino UNO R3 board with the ATmega328p chip. The microcontroller is manufactured by Microchip, part of the AVR family, with an 8-bit architecture.
Ideal for academics, makers, and developers, this board offers a versatile platform for prototyping and learning embedded systems.
