The Dialight Optopipe® Light Pipe is a precision optical component designed for use with MicroLED Surface Mount Technology (SMT) LEDs. Its larger light emitting surface creates a bright, uniform illumination, effectively transmitting light from a compact LED to a visible indicator. The component is reliably secured by two press-fit pins located on either side, ensuring a stable and permanent installation onto the Printed Circuit Board (PCB).

This Optopipe® functions as a highly effective through-the-case indicator, featuring a textured finish on the light-emitting surface. This texture significantly increases the viewing angle, making the status indication clearly visible from a wide range of positions. It is manufactured from high-transmissivity polycarbonate material, which maximises light output while maintaining durability. The material carries a UL94V-0 flammability rating, denoting high resistance to ignition.
