The Diodes Inc. PDS5100-13 is a high-performance POWERDI® Schottky Barrier Rectifier designed for demanding power management applications. Its construction features a matte tin annealed finish over a copper lead frame for excellent solderability and corrosion resistance, housed in a robust UL94V-0 flammability-rated moulded plastic case.

This rectifier utilises an advanced guard ring die construction, providing enhanced transient protection to ensure reliability in fluctuating power conditions. The standout features include an exceptionally low forward voltage drop of just 790mV (max) and a high forward surge current capability of 100A, which minimises power loss and improves efficiency in your circuit designs. It also boasts a low leakage current specification, qualifying as Level-1 per the J-STD-020 moisture sensitivity standard.

With a maximum repetitive peak reverse voltage of 100V and an average forward current rating of 5A, this single-diode component is a reliable choice for a wide range of electronic assemblies. Its surface-mount PowerDI 5 package (2 pins) is optimised for automated PCB assembly, offering excellent thermal performance with a junction-to-soldering point thermal resistance of just 2.6°C/W, allowing it to operate at temperatures up to 150°C.
