The Dual MOSFET Driver from Diodes Inc. is a high-speed, non-inverting single-gate driver designed for efficient switching of MOSFETs and IGBTs. With a peak source and sink current of 5A, it ensures rapid charging and discharging of capacitive gate loads, minimising power losses and distortion in high-current switching applications.
This driver can deliver 1.5A into low gate impedance with just 10mA input from a controller, making it highly efficient for power-sensitive designs. The turn-on and turn-off switching behaviour can be individually tailored, allowing designers to reduce EMI and cross-conduction in their circuits.
Featuring an optimised pin-out for simplified PCB layout and reduced parasitic trace inductance, this driver is ideal for AC-DC power supplies (SMPS), DC-DC converters, DC-AC inverters, motor control circuits, and amplifier output stages. Its near-zero quiescent current (20nA max) and rugged emitter-follower design make it latch-up and shoot-through resistant.
