The DUCATI Motor Run Capacitor from the 4.16.15 Series is a high‑performance snap‑in capacitor designed for motor drive control applications. Its dielectric is a metallized polypropylene film, with electrodes made from an extremely thin metal coating applied by vacuum evaporation, delivering low losses and non‑inductive winding. The self‑healing property prevents short‑circuits, ensuring long‑term reliability.

The capacitor features a robust construction with a case and cover made from self‑extinguishing plastic material, and the capacitive element is sealed with polyurethane resin. The patented FAST FIX system (patent no. UD 92A000164) allows quick and secure mounting onto equipment, and is suitable for plates with thickness between 0.8 and 1.1mm. An alternative standard mounting via an M8 thread stud is also possible thanks to the required drilling. The 28mm diameter M8 plastic stud provides a secure fit.
