The EQUINOX Onyx is a professional-grade moving beam effect light that creates dynamic lighting displays with fast-moving, flashing, and sweeping beams. It utilises twin bars of high-intensity RGBW LEDs to project vivid colours and sharp beams across any venue.

With a total of 8 powerful 3W LEDs (2 Red, 2 Green, 2 Blue, 2 White), it delivers bright and consistent output. Its ultra-narrow 3.4° beam angle produces intense, laser-like shafts of light ideal for cutting through atmospheric haze and creating dramatic visual effects.

Control & Operation

Offering versatile control, the Onyx features selectable 10 or 14 DMX channels for seamless integration into larger lighting rigs. It also includes multiple standalone modes: automatic programs, a sound-active mode that reacts to music, and master/slave functionality for synchronising multiple units. Full 0-100% dimming and a variable strobe effect provide complete creative control over the intensity and timing of the light output.

Build & Installation

Constructed for the rigours of tour and install use, it boasts a 270° total tilt range for expansive coverage. Installation is simplified with the inclusion of quick-release omega clamps. Operation is managed via an intuitive 4-button menu with a clear LED display. Connectivity is provided through a standard IEC power input and 3-Pin XLR connectors for DMX input and output.
