The FTDI FT902Q Dev Board with Front Camera is a comprehensive development platform tailored for embedded applications. At its core is the FT90x 100-pin QFN package MCU, featuring a 32-bit FT32 core architecture for efficient processing. This board is equipped with a front-facing CMOS camera, making it ideal for projects requiring visual input.
Connectivity and Power
The board offers an extensive array of connectivity options including an RJ45 connector with built-in magnetics for 10/100Mbps Ethernet, a standard USB-A connector for USB device support, and a Micro-B USB port for USB host connections or power supply. An in-built audio codec provides stereo audio output via a 3.5mm headphone jack and a mono microphone input. For flexible power, a +5V alternative power supply DC connector is included.
Expansion and Interfaces
Development is supported through a debugger interface for FT90x flash programming and EFUSE configuration. The board features several headers for expansion: a 2x5-pin 1.27mm pitch female Micro-MaTch connector for software download, a 2x20-pin 2.54mm pitch female header for external features, and a 24-pin 0.5mm pitch camera connector. A MicroSD card socket supports SD3.0 specification, while 2x8-pin 2.54mm pitch headers and 16-pin 0.5mm pitch FFC/FPC connectors enable SPI master connections for LCD display modules. Two RGB LEDs are also provided.
