Gridpro Cooker Hood Double Pole Switched Module 20AX

Gridpro Cooker Hood Double Pole Switched Module 20AX is a double-pole switched module for cooker hoods, rated 20AX at 250V with a maximum current of 20A. Its robust construction and 20AX rating are designed for the inductive loads typically found with extractor fans and motors.

Overview

The module is a dedicated electrical component for use with GridPro series frontplates, providing a clearly labelled control point for a common kitchen appliance. The switch face carries a clear "COOKER HOOD" legend to help prevent confusion and ensure the correct appliance is connected. It is constructed from durable nylon (polyamide), offering insulation and mechanical strength.

Key Features

• Double-pole switching provides complete isolation of both live and neutral conductors
• Screw fittings allow secure attachment to 1 to 4-gang GridPro frontplates without a separate yoke
• Integrated clips at the top and bottom enable a quick snap-in fit for larger frontplate assemblies
• Suitable for controlling motors and other inductive loads
• Slim profile requires a minimum back box depth of 25 mm (35 mm when used with a flat plate)

Installation

The modular design streamlines the wiring process for electricians and DIY installers. Dimensions are 3.3 width, 1.5 depth and 4.3 height, and the module weighs 32.6 g.

Choose the Gridpro Cooker Hood Double Pole Switched Module 20AX when a dedicated double-pole switch is needed for a cooker hood within a GridPro frontplate assembly.
