The HAMMOND IP67 ABS Enclosure is a sturdy and versatile protective casing designed for housing printed circuit boards or DIN rail-mounted components. Constructed from general-purpose ABS plastic with a flammability rating of UL94 HB, this enclosure offers durability and safety in various environments.
Featuring a light grey (RAL7035) colour, the enclosure has a gasketed lid with a tongue-and-groove construction, ensuring protection against oil, dust, and water ingress. The factory-poured high-temperature UL-listed silicone gasket provides an additional layer of security. It meets IP66 and NEMA 4, 4X, 12, and 13 ratings, making it suitable for demanding industrial applications.
The lid is secured with self-captivating M4 stainless steel machine screws (included) threaded into integral stainless steel bushings, ensuring a tight and secure fit. The enclosure also includes threaded M3 internal brass inserts and/or standoffs compatible with M3.5 or #6 self-tapping screws. Vertical P.C. card guides are moulded into the enclosure, and internal DIN rail mounting tabs provide convenient installation options.
