The HONEYWELL Bipolar Digital Hall Effect Sensor is a small, versatile device operated by the magnetic field from a permanent magnet or an electromagnet. Designed in a 3-pin TO-92 package, it is engineered to respond to alternating north and south poles or to a south pole only.
Featuring band gap regulation, this sensor provides stable operation over a supply voltage range of 3.8 VDC to 30 VDC. Its 3.8 V capability makes it suitable for many low-voltage applications. The device is capable of continuous 20 mA sinking output and can be cycled up to a maximum of 50 mA. The digital, open-collector sinking type output can be easily interfaced with a wide variety of electronic circuits.
