The ICY DOCK ToughArmor EX Mobile Rack is an internal HDD enclosure that allows you to install two 2.5-inch SATA or SAS drives into a single 3.5-inch drive bay, making it ideal for RAID configurations or high-speed storage expansion. Its removable tray system ensures easy maintenance and quick drive swaps, while the unique Drive ID plugs help in drive identification.
Designed with heavy-duty full metal construction, this enclosure provides EMI grounding to protect your drives from electrical interference. The dual locking system includes a thumbscrew to secure the drive and a lockable drive door for additional data security. Enhanced with passive cooling and Multi-Flow technology, it ensures stable performance without overheating.
The rack supports SATA 6Gb/s speeds with hot-swap capability, perfect for seamless upgrades. Included in the package are the mobile rack, keys, ID plugs, mounting screws, and a user guide for hassle-free installation.
Note: A SAS host controller is required to use SAS drives in this enclosure.
