The INFINEON IR2130SPBF is a high voltage, high speed power driver designed for three-phase bridge applications. It features three independent high and low side referenced output channels, making it ideal for driving N-channel power MOSFETs or IGBTs in high side configurations operating up to 600 volts. The proprietary HVIC technology ensures a ruggedized monolithic construction, while logic inputs are compatible with CMOS or LSTTL outputs, down to 2.5V logic.
This driver includes a ground-referenced operational amplifier for analog feedback of bridge current via an external current sense resistor. A current trip function terminates all six outputs when an over-current condition is detected, and an open drain FAULT signal indicates over-current or under-voltage shutdown. The output drivers feature a high pulse current buffer stage designed for minimum cross-conduction, and matched propagation delays simplify use at high frequencies.
The floating channels support bootstrap operation and are tolerant to negative transient voltage, with dV/dt immunity. The gate drive supply range is from 10V to 20V, and under-voltage lockout is provided for all channels. The driver is fully operational up to +600V and includes cross-conduction prevention logic.
