The Infineon ITS428L2 is a sophisticated 1-output high-side vertical power MOSFET switch, monolithically integrated using advanced Smart SIPMOS® technology. Designed for demanding applications, it incorporates a charge pump, a ground-referenced CMOS-compatible input, and diagnostic feedback directly on the chip.

This component excels in reliability, offering a comprehensive suite of embedded protection functions to safeguard your circuit. These include overvoltage protection (capable of handling load dump conditions with an external resistor), short-circuit protection, overload protection with current limitation, and thermal shutdown. It also features reverse battery protection and protections against loss of ground and loss of VBB.

Engineered for superior performance, it boasts a very low standby current, improved electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), and stable behaviour during under-voltage conditions. Its wide operating voltage range and the independence of logic ground from load ground offer significant design flexibility.
