The ISOCOM H11L1 is a microprocessor-compatible Schmitt trigger optocoupler, designed to provide reliable galvanic isolation in digital circuits. It integrates a gallium arsenide infrared emitting diode coupled with a Schmitt trigger output stage, ensuring clean, noise-immune signal transmission. Its logic-compatible output can sink up to 16mA at a maximum of 0.4V, making it suitable for interfacing with a wide variety of logic families and microcontrollers.
A key feature is its high common mode rejection ratio, which effectively blocks electrical noise and ground loop interference, protecting sensitive microprocessor inputs. It offers a high data rate of typically 1MHz (NRZ) and fast switching characteristics, with typical rise and fall times of just 100ns, enabling its use in high-speed communication and control applications.
The device is supplied in a standard 6-pin DIP (Dual In-line Package) format, facilitating easy integration onto printed circuit boards via through-hole soldering.
