The ISOCOM TIL197 is a single-channel, 4-pin photodarlington optically coupled isolator, designed for reliable signal transmission in electronic circuits requiring electrical isolation. This high-density mounting component integrates an infrared light-emitting diode (IR LED) optically coupled to an NPN silicon photodarlington transistor, providing a high current transfer ratio (CTR). The standard parts are rigorously tested to ensure a minimum CTR of 500%, making it highly efficient for driving loads or interfacing between different circuit sections.
Constructed in a standard DIP (Dual In-line Package) format, it is perfectly suited for through-hole PCB mounting.
