The KAUDAIR Data Cabinet Extractor Fan is a reliable and efficient cooling solution designed specifically for data cabinets equipped with an industry-standard 120mm mounting aperture. Engineered for continuous operation, it delivers effective thermal management to protect sensitive electronic equipment from overheating.

This fan operates at the low end of the noise spectrum, producing a quiet 25–26 dB(A), making it suitable for office and server room environments. A rubber silicone gasket is fitted between the fan and the cabinet to help dampen vibrations and further lower the noise floor for a more peaceful workspace.

With a power consumption of approximately 8W, it provides a substantial air delivery of 49–50 CFM (cubic feet per minute), offering excellent airflow for its energy use. Its design is economical for 24/7 operation, helping to maintain optimal cabinet temperatures without excessive running costs.

Safety and reliability are paramount. The fan is impedance protected and fused at 1A, ensuring compliance with all current UK and EU safety standards. It features a built-in protective function: if the fan blade is locked by an external force while powered, the system cuts power to the motor to prevent coil overheating and will restart automatically once the obstruction is cleared.

For safe and straightforward installation, the unit comes complete with a 1.5m mains lead, a UK plug (Type G), a metal finger guard, a rubber gasket, and M4 fixing screws. The mains wires are pre-sheathed and secured for complete safety during handling. The fan housing includes threaded M4 slots, eliminating the need for separate nuts.
