The Kitronik Simple Servo Control Board for micro:bit is an ideal solution for introductory robotics projects. Designed specifically for use with the micro:bit, this board allows you to easily drive up to 3 servos simultaneously via standard 0.1 inch pin headers, making it perfect for simple mechanical creations and automation tasks.
In addition to servo control, the board provides 6 croc-clippable pads for connecting additional devices. These pads break out P0, P1, P2, 3V, GND, and Switch A, offering excellent expandability for your projects. Custom MakeCode blocks and MicroPython code examples are readily available to help you get started quickly, ensuring a smooth learning curve for beginners.
Design and Power
The board features an integrated edge connector for the micro:bit, alongside an LED power indicator and a convenient on/off switch. An onboard 3x AA battery holder provides regulated power to both the servos and the micro:bit itself. Mounting lugs on both sides of the board make it incredibly easy to attach to your project using just elastic bands, removing the need for complex fixings.
