Designed for versatility, the Zip Stick is compatible with any WS2812B driver code and can be programmed using the Microsoft MakeCode Editor or Adafruit NeoPixel blocks. The LEDs are controlled independently via a simple three-wire bus, simplifying your wiring setup. Multiple Zip boards can be connected seamlessly using the eight connections (four on each end) and the DOUT pin, making it suitable for creating larger and more elaborate lighting displays.
The board includes a DIN pin for data input, alongside +5V and GND pins for straightforward power connection, plus an integrated reset circuit for reliable operation. With a maximum current draw of 50mA per LED at full brightness, it provides bright illumination while maintaining efficient power usage.
