The LABFACILITY Z2-K-3M DISC (IEC) is a precision fine wire disc thermocouple, engineered for fast, accurate surface temperature measurement. Its design features a 6.35mm copper disc termination, allowing for direct, stable contact with the surface being monitored. This termination style is ideal for achieving optimal thermal transfer and a rapid response time.
The thermocouple utilises a Type K (chromel–alumel) twin-twist Class 1 cable wire, providing high accuracy and a wide operational temperature range. The wires are insulated with durable PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene), offering excellent chemical resistance, flexibility, and thermal stability, making it suitable for demanding industrial and laboratory environments.
