The Lapp UK Skintop STR Cable Gland is a robust and versatile sealing solution designed for demanding industrial environments. Constructed from high-quality, tough polyamide (nylon), it offers significant advantages over traditional brass glands, including excellent corrosion resistance and a lighter weight.

A key feature is its unique patented anti-vibration lock. This innovative design prevents the cable from coming loose when subjected to vibrations, making it ideal for use on electric motors, control panels, and machine tools where stability is critical. The gland provides a secure seal rated to IP68 Bar 5, ensuring complete protection against dust ingress and water submersion, suitable for a wide variety of dry or wet applications.

For added flexibility, it includes a reducing sealing ring to accommodate smaller cable diameters, ensuring a tight and reliable seal across a range of cables. Its operational temperature range is from -20°C to 80°C, and it carries major international approvals including cULus, cURus, CSA, CE, and TÜV.
