LITTELFUSE SMAJ Bidirectional TVS Diode 30V 48.4V DO-214AC

The LITTELFUSE SMAJ Series Bidirectional TVS Diode is a surface-mount transient voltage suppression diode designed specifically to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients induced by lightning and other transient voltage events. It is ideal for the protection of I/O interfaces, VCC bus and other vulnerable circuits, offering robust defence in a compact form factor to optimise board space.

Featuring a glass passivated junction, this diode ensures low inductance and excellent clamping capability. It boasts a 400W peak pulse power capability at a 10x1000μs waveform, alongside a minimum fast response time of less than 1ps from 0V to V(BR) and a 0.01% repetition rate (duty cycle). The component provides reliable ESD protection of data lines in accordance with IEC 61000-4-2 (IEC801-2) and EFT protection of data lines in accordance with IEC 61000-4-4 (IEC801-4).

With a reverse standoff voltage of 30V and a maximum clamping voltage of 48.4V, it operates effectively within a wide temperature range of -65°C to 150°C. The product features compact dimensions of 43 mm in height, 33 mm in width, and 15 mm in depth, weighing just 0.077 grams.
