LOCTITE 577 Thread Sealant, Medium Strength, 50ml
LOCTITE 577 medium-strength thread sealant (50ml) for metal pipes. Seals instantly, resists vibration & chemicals. NSF & DVGW approved.
The LOCTITE 577 Thread Sealant is a versatile, medium-strength solution designed for locking and sealing threaded metal pipes and fittings. It acts as a general-purpose sealant, effectively filling gaps between threaded components to create a secure, leak-proof connection while simultaneously locking them against vibration and stress. Its formulation is tolerant of high temperatures and minor surface contaminations, ensuring reliable performance in demanding environments.
A key advantage of this sealant is its effectiveness on both active and inactive metals, including stainless steel, without requiring surface activation. It offers excellent gap-filling performance up to 0.25mm and will cure effectively even in the presence of residues from cutting fluids, lubricants, anti-corrosion agents, or cleaners. This makes it an exceptionally practical choice for maintenance and installation tasks where perfect surface preparation isn't always possible.
The product provides an instant, low-pressure seal that will not creep, shrink, or shred over time, guaranteeing long-term integrity for your pipework. Its medium strength is specifically calibrated to allow for future disassembly and maintenance without damaging components, striking the perfect balance between security and serviceability.
