The connection is secured with a self-locking threaded joint, ensuring a vibration-proof and IP67-rated seal that protects against dust ingress and temporary immersion in water. An FKM O-ring and TPU insert within the connector enhance this environmental sealing.

The contacts are made from pre-nickeled and gold-plated CuZn (brass), with a 0.3-micron gold plating ensuring very low contact resistance (≤5mΩ) and superior corrosion resistance for stable, long-term connectivity.
