The Martindale LOKFS1 is a universal locking off device designed specifically for single gang fused spur connection units, fully complying with the BS 1363-4 standard. It provides a critical safety function, enabling robust safe isolation procedures to be carried out in residential, commercial, and industrial premises, in full accordance with the Electricity at Work Regulations. How It Works

Installation is straightforward. After opening the fuse tray and removing the fuse, the LOKFS1 is positioned over the spur unit. It is secured in place using the existing screw heads of the facia plate, and then a compatible padlock (sold separately) is fitted through the device to lock it, physically preventing the reinsertion of the fuse. The design incorporates industry standard fixing centres and cleverly accommodates flexible outlet cabling from the fused spur, ensuring a neat and functional fit.
