Microchip 24LC128-I/SN 128Kbit I2C EEPROM in SOIC8. Low-power, 400kHz, 1.7-5.5V, for data acquisition.
The Microchip 24LC128-I/SN EEPROM is a 16K x 8 (128Kbit) serial Electrically Erasable Programmable Read-Only Memory, designed for advanced, low-power applications such as data acquisition. It operates across a broad voltage range of 1.7V to 5.5V, ensuring flexibility in various electronic designs.
This device features a page write capability of up to 64 bytes, enabling efficient data storage. It supports both random and sequential reads up to the 128K boundary, and functional address lines allow up to eight devices on the same bus, giving a total address space of up to 1Mbit. The 2-wire I²C™ compatible interface ensures simple integration with microcontrollers and other digital systems.
Engineered with low-power CMOS technology, this EEPROM includes Schmitt-trigger inputs for noise suppression, output slope control to eliminate ground bounce, and a hardware write-protect feature. It offers more than 1 million erase/write cycles and a typical page write time of 5ms with self-timed erase/write cycles.
