MICROCHIP Fixed LDO Voltage Regulator offering 3.3V output & 250mA current. Ideal for battery-powered & automotive applications.
The MICROCHIP Fixed LDO Voltage Regulator is a low quiescent current device capable of delivering up to 250mA of output current while consuming only 2μA of quiescent current (typical). This makes it highly efficient for power-sensitive designs.
With an input operating range specified from 2.7V to 16.0V, this regulator is an ideal choice for two to six primary cell battery-powered applications, 9V alkaline, and one or two-cell Li-ion-powered applications. It is capable of delivering 250mA with only a 625mV (typical) input to output voltage differential when the output voltage is 2.8V.
The device offers high output voltage accuracy, typically ±0.4% at +25°C and ±3% maximum over the operating junction temperature range of -40°C to 125°C. Line regulation is typically ±0.1% at +25°C.
