Capable of delivering up to 120mA output current, its innovative design allows the input voltage to be either lower or higher than the output voltage by automatically switching between buck and boost modes.
Operating at a high switching frequency of 650kHz helps avoid interference with intermediate frequency (IF) bands, making it suitable for sensitive electronic applications. The device incorporates multiple protection and control features for robust and reliable performance, including short-circuit protection, thermal shutdown with hysteresis, and soft-start circuitry to minimise inrush current during power-up.
