The MICROCHIP MCP1415T-E/OT is a high-performance, high-speed MOSFET driver integrated circuit designed for demanding power management and control applications. This single-channel, low-side driver is capable of delivering 1.5A of peak source and sink current, enabling it to swiftly charge and discharge MOSFET gate capacitance. It operates from a single supply voltage ranging from 4.5V to 18V and is directly compatible with TTL or CMOS logic levels (3V to 18V), providing excellent interface flexibility.

A standout feature is its exceptional switching speed, with matched rise and fall times and short propagation delays (as low as 48ns output delay). This makes it perfectly suited for high-frequency switching applications where timing precision is critical. The device can drive substantial capacitive loads, typically charging 1000pF in less than 20ns, ensuring fast and efficient MOSFET switching.
