Low quiescent current LDO regulator, fixed 3.3V output, 250mA, TO-92 package. Ideal for battery-powered devices.
MCP1702-3302E/TO is a low quiescent current, low dropout (LDO) voltage regulator from Microchip, housed in a 3-pin TO-92 package. This fixed 3.3V regulator delivers up to 250mA output current and is ideal for battery-powered applications, including two to six primary cells, 9V alkaline, and one or two cell Li-Ion systems. The output voltage tolerance is typically ±0.4% at 25°C and ±3% maximum across the operating junction temperature range of -40°C to 125°C.
With a typical quiescent current of only 2μA, the MCP1702 extends battery life in portable and low-power devices. It features a low dropout voltage of 525mV at 250mA load, and its output remains stable with just 1μF of capacitance (compatible with ceramic, tantalum, or aluminium electrolytic capacitors). The regulator also includes overcurrent limit and overtemperature shutdown for robust protection, along with short-circuit protection and a power supply ripple rejection ratio (PSRR) of 44dB.
Specifications
The MCP1702 is a reliable and efficient solution for a wide range of power management applications, ensuring stable performance in consumer electronics, portable devices, and automotive systems.
