MICROCHIP PIC16F1847 8-bit Flash Microcontroller, 32MHz, 14KB, 18-Pin DIP

The MICROCHIP PIC16F1847-I/P is a high-performance, 8-bit Flash microcontroller from the enhanced mid-range PIC16 family, featuring eXtreme Low Power (XLP) technology. It is built around a robust CPU core with 49 instructions and supports automatic context saving for efficient interrupt handling. The device offers a versatile memory architecture with a 15-bit program counter capable of addressing a 32K x 14 program memory space and includes a 16-level deep hardware stack with overflow protection.

This microcontroller is packed with advanced peripherals ideal for embedded control applications. It includes an integrated capacitive mTouch® sensing module for touch interface designs, a data signal modulator, and multiple communication interfaces such as MI²C™, SPI, and EUSART with auto-baud. For analogue signal acquisition, it features a 12-channel, 10-bit Analogue-to-Digital Converter (ADC) with a voltage reference, along with comparators featuring a selectable reference.

Robust timing and control are provided by four 8-bit timers, one 16-bit timer, and enhanced/capture compare PWM modules (2 ECCP and 2 CCP). The device ensures reliable operation with comprehensive system management features, including enhanced power-on/off-reset, programmable brown-out reset (BOR), an extended watchdog timer (EWDT), and a power-saving sleep mode. It supports flexible development and programming through In-Circuit Serial Programming™ (ICSP™) and In-Circuit Debug (ICD) via two pins.
