Microchip TC1262 LDO Regulator, 3.3V, 500mA, SOT-223

The Microchip TC1262-3.3VDB is a fixed output, high accuracy CMOS low dropout (LDO) voltage regulator, supplied in a compact 3-pin SOT-223 package. Designed specifically for battery-operated systems, this regulator features a CMOS construction that eliminates wasted ground current, significantly extending battery life. Total supply current is typically just 80µA at full load—20 to 60 times lower than equivalent bipolar regulators.

This LDO provides a fixed 3.3V output with a maximum output current of 500mA, and it remains stable with an output capacitor of only 1µF. High output voltage accuracy of typically ±0.5% ensures reliable operation for sensitive electronics. The device offers a very low dropout voltage of 350mV at 500mA load current, making it highly efficient even with minimal input-to-output headroom.
