MULTICOMP DTPMK Backshell for DA, 15-Way, Nickel-Plated ABS

The MULTICOMP DTPMK Backshell is a high-quality D-sub connector accessory designed for industrial applications. Made from nickel-plated ABS plastic with a polycarbonate cable strain relief, it ensures durability and reliable performance in demanding environments.

This backshell features long jackscrews with UNC 4-40 thread as standard (with optional M2.5, M2.6, or M3) for secure attachment. The design minimises interference from electromagnetic and RF sources, while non-static components help prevent ESD (electrostatic discharge) issues.

Suitable for both round foil and braided cable types, the DTPMK backshell supports cable diameters from 3 to 13mm and includes a straight cable outlet for efficient installation. Its moulded top jackscrews allow for colour coding, aiding in system organisation. With an impressive >40dB attenuation factor between 30MHz and 1GHz, it ensures signal integrity in electrically noisy environments.
