The Multicomp Pro MCMF series metal film fixed resistor is a precision component designed for demanding electronic applications. The axial leads are made from annealed copper coated with tin-lead, ensuring excellent solderability, and are protected by a distinctive sky blue insulated epoxy resin coating for added mechanical strength and insulation.

This high-precision resistor is engineered for reliability across a wide operating temperature range. It is suitable for wave soldering processes and can also be joined by welding, providing flexibility in assembly. For secure mounting, the terminal leads can be bent 90° at a point approximately 6mm from the resistor body and are designed to withstand rotational stress, supporting a 360° rotation about their axis in alternating directions for a total of three full turns.
